Organic Red Quinoa can be served hot or cold. It's outrageously tasty in salads and can be used as a substitute for rice or couscous. Delicate, a bit nutty, and rich in fiber and protein.
TO COOK: rinse under running water. In a pot, put in a cup of quinoa with two cups of water or stock (for added flavour), cover, and bring to the boil. and Reduce heat to simmer until all liquid is absorbed, about 15-20 minutes.
You'll know it's ready when it's tripled in size and the 'tails' are popping out.
